Track your session time with a simple timer because after about two hours the small edges you worked for start getting erased by fatigue decisions. I usually lock in a hard stop at the three hour mark unless the table is unbelievably soft and I’ve got some caffeine still working.

How do you even practice for those moments when the math says call but your gut says run? That edge feels impossible to learn without losing a ton first.

Honestly it takes so much more than just knowing the odds, you gotta learn how to read the table vibe and tust that instinct even when the math says otherwise. I've definitely cost myself some pots by overthinking it and ignoring my gut feeling.

Watching the WSOP main event final table last year showed me that even the absolute cushers get their bluffs snapped off, you really do have to read souls at that level.
