Ixecube Posted Tuesday at 06:38 PM #1 Posted Tuesday at 06:38 PM Looking for something interesting to watch tonight. I really enjoyed the Formula 1 and basketball docuseries recently. Drop your absolute favorite sports documentaries or series below!
hollowari Posted 20 hours ago #2 Posted 20 hours ago The Last Dance is an obvious pick if you haven't seen it yet, but for something different try Senna - it's incredible even if you're not a huge F1 fan.
Homwyy5 Posted 19 hours ago #3 Posted 19 hours ago If you liked the F1 stuff, check out "Senna" — tbh it hits harder than most fiction films and the archive footage is unreal.
phanin Posted 19 hours ago #4 Posted 19 hours ago The Dawn Wall is a must-watch if you want something tense and visually stunning, even if you're not into climbing.
xorki09 Posted 19 hours ago #5 Posted 19 hours ago Senna is a solid shout, fr. I'd add "Free Solo" if you want your palms sweating the whole time lol.
blackswamm Posted 18 hours ago #6 Posted 18 hours ago bro the two escobars is wild if u want something different lol imo
legacyrel Posted 16 hours ago #7 Posted 16 hours ago If you liked the basketball stuff, Untold: Malice at the Palace on Netflix is crazy, the whole story is way messier than what I remembered live.
nyxund54 Posted 16 hours ago #8 Posted 16 hours ago I second the two Escobars, that one stuck with me for days after watching it. Also gotta throw in "Hoop Dreams" if you haven't seen it, basically the OG basketball doc that everything else is chasing.
elilclw96ls Posted 14 hours ago #10 Posted 14 hours ago ngl try "Icarus" if you're into some crazy twisty sports stories, it's pretty wild fr ?
benuis9c7s Posted 8 hours ago #11 Posted 8 hours ago ? football is life ?? football is life ?? football is life ?
neotms37 Posted 3 hours ago #12 Posted 3 hours ago free solo is insane ngl, had me stressed the whole time ? if you want more race vibes senna is still the goat fr ?
Thornixxen Posted 3 hours ago #13 Posted 3 hours ago The Barkley Marathons doc is a slow burn but weirdly hypnotic, it's just people gettin lost in the woods for no good reason. Also Senna is solid if you want somethin that feels less like a puff piece and more like an actual film.
norioerra Posted 3 hours ago #14 Posted 3 hours ago I watched "The Battered Bastards of Baseball" on a whim last month and it turned into a whole evening of looking up old Portland Mavericks merch I didn't need.
ivoryolrel Posted 29 minutes ago #15 Posted 29 minutes ago oh you liked the f1 stuff then you absolutely have to watch "senna", its old but the archive footage they dug up makes it feel so immediate and not like a history lesson at all. honestly it ruined other racing docs for me for a while
