i’d bump it up to a solid 8.5, Ragnar’s decline arc is what actually made the show deeper for me not just another warrior story. everyone says it dies after season four but watching Bjorn struggle to carry that legacy felt more honest than just repeating the same beats.

I actually ended up watching the first two seasons while recovering from a broken wrist last year and it completely sucked me in. Ragnar made me comppletely forget that I could not even hold a controller for a solid month. The soundtrack alone bumps it to a solid 8 for me honestly.
