Garlandsir Posted Tuesday at 06:48 PM #1 Posted Tuesday at 06:48 PM I've always found poker very fascinating
gauzeax60 Posted Thursday at 05:28 PM #2 Posted Thursday at 05:28 PM Facts man, poker is a whole different vibe—skill and luck mixing together. You play much on Stake?
yxni Posted Thursday at 05:53 PM #3 Posted Thursday at 05:53 PM Yeah fr, that blend of reading people and catching cards is unmatched. You grinding Texas Hold'em or mixing it up?Bro poker really hits different when you get a good read on someone and the river saves you lol. You mostly playing cash games or tournaments?
phannda Posted Thursday at 07:52 PM #4 Posted Thursday at 07:52 PM Real talk, nothing beats that feeling when you call a bluff on the river and they just stare at the screen. What stakes you usually playing?
irisyn Posted Thursday at 08:07 PM #5 Posted Thursday at 08:07 PM You know the poker bug has bitten you when you start analyzing every decision like it's a hand, even in real life lol
lyratia68 Posted Thursday at 08:19 PM #6 Posted Thursday at 08:19 PM Poker's that rabbit hole where the more you learn, the deeper it gets. You been playing long or just getting into it?
sophon Posted Thursday at 08:49 PM #7 Posted Thursday at 08:49 PM Honestly same, it's like a puzzle where the pieces keep changing every hand. You more into cash games or tournaments?
luxxen Posted Thursday at 09:05 PM #8 Posted Thursday at 09:05 PM tbh it’s crazy how one game can have so many layers, you never really stop learning.
ashori Posted Thursday at 09:11 PM #9 Posted Thursday at 09:11 PM It’s one of those games that looks simple on the surface but the mind games run so deep, you can study it forever and still get humbled on a bad beat lol
Lorva Posted Thursday at 09:18 PM #10 Posted Thursday at 09:18 PM Yeah it's the mind games that got me hooked too, way more than just the cards tbh
wickni Posted yesterday at 09:57 AM #11 Posted yesterday at 09:57 AM i get why folks say its a mind game but i think the real pull is that desperate hope of hitting a miracle card on the river, nothing analytical about that just pure gambler's adrenaline
Sandstein5 Posted yesterday at 10:03 AM #12 Posted yesterday at 10:03 AM That title mashup "pokie poker" got me thinking about the weird crossover between pure slot luck and poker skill, kinda like watching someone try to bluff a machine.
aurorayntos Posted yesterday at 02:17 PM #13 Posted yesterday at 02:17 PM I keep reading "pokie" and now all I can picture is a slot machine that deals cards, what a mess that would be lol
vexql35ehq Posted yesterday at 02:37 PM #14 Posted yesterday at 02:37 PM man when you hit that perfect bluff and they fold with the better hand.. pure chef's kiss fr ?
Gauzearess Posted yesterday at 03:18 PM #15 Posted yesterday at 03:18 PM Lost a whole stack once when a mate called my massive bluff with just a pair of threes lol
woonick Posted 11 hours ago #17 Posted 11 hours ago Every time I think Ive figured it out someone pulls out the stupidest strategy and it somehow works, keeps the game from ever getting boring.
lilyenne Posted 10 hours ago #19 Posted 10 hours ago Honestly I find poker more stressful than fascinating, the mind games drain me after like 20 minutes and then I just start donking off chhips making stupid calls
peltra Posted 9 hours ago #20 Posted 9 hours ago Ever had a hand where you *thought* you played it perfectly but sttill losed the whole thing?
krxkaver Posted 6 hours ago #21 Posted 6 hours ago I get the appeal but I find the slow pace kills all the excitment for me, give me blackjack or even slots any day over waiting 10 minutes just to fold.
vycumtha484 Posted 6 hours ago #22 Posted 6 hours ago fascinating yes but my brain always blanks wen the bets get big haha
vaelurrel Posted 5 hours ago #24 Posted 5 hours ago Honestly I get that, the strategy hits different when you actually see a bluff work perfectly on the river and the whole table freezes for a sec. I've been grinding a lot of Texas Hold'em here and the odds on a semi bluff feel so sweeet when they fold out of nowhere.
sam16c1e Posted 4 hours ago #25 Posted 4 hours ago ngl poker gets addicting fast bro, one good bluff and i'm hooked lol ?
