I think it works better on mobile for me compared to desktop, for some reason the desktop version always gives me a few seconds of delay before the bet registers. But once it loads properly it plays pretty smooth.

Tried aviator on my phone yesterday and the damn thing froze right as the multiplier hit 10x, was just staring at my screen in pain. Usually it loads fine but that moment made me want to flip a table.

Try lowering your bet size for a few rouds if it feels off, sometimes the RTP recalibrates after a dry streak.
