Honestly folding too much can be just as bad as playing every hand, you end up bleeding blinds and looking weak. I’d say pick a simple starting hand chart and stick to it, rather than just folding everything that isn’t aces.

I'd say focusing on solid preflop hand selection beats tryinng to learn fancy bluffs early on, because playing fewer but stronger hands keeps you out of trouble spots when you're still figuring out the flow. Once you get that down you can slowly open up and it feels way more natural than just folding everything and hoping for aces.
