Many people think poker is all about luck, but experienced players know it's much more than that. Success comes from reading the table, managing your bankroll, staying patient, and making smart decisions under pressure.

The best players don't chase every hand—they wait for the right opportunity, stay disciplined, and think several moves ahead.

It’s def more skill than luck over time, but tbh the variance can still humble you real quick even when you play it right. For me, tight-aggressive works best—just folding trash and hammering when I’ve got the edge.

It’s mostly skill over the long run for sure, but I’ve had sessions where I played perfectly and still got stacked by some ridiculous river card. Tight-aggressive is my go-to too, just gotta accept the bad beats and move on.

Tight-aggressive is the way tbh, but man those cooler sessions where you do everything right and still get stacked test your patience like nothing else.

Skill over the long haul, no question. But anyone who says luck doesn't play a part has never had pocket aces cracked by some maniac calling all-in with 7-2 offsuit.

Tight-aggressive is solid, but I've found mixing in some well-timed bluffs against the right players really pays off — gotta keep 'em guessing a bit.

It’s 90% skill over time but that 10% luck can make you question everything in the moment lol. I lean tight-aggressive too, but I’ll loosen up against players who fold too much to pressure.

Skill for sure long-term, but that 10% luck feels like 90% when you're the one getting rivered for your whole stack 😅 Tight-aggressive is the bread and butter, but I've learned you gotta switch it up against regulars or you become way too predictable.

Tight-aggressive works for me too, but the real skill is knowing exactly when to ditch it and exploit someone who's playing too scared or too loose.
