It’s def more skill than luck over time, but tbh the variance can still humble you real quick even when you play it right. For me, tight-aggressive works best—just folding trash and hammering when I’ve got the edge.

It’s mostly skill over the long run for sure, but I’ve had sessions where I played perfectly and still got stacked by some ridiculous river card. Tight-aggressive is my go-to too, just gotta accept the bad beats and move on.

It’s 90% skill over time but that 10% luck can make you question everything in the moment lol. I lean tight-aggressive too, but I’ll loosen up against players who fold too much to pressure.

fold preflop a bit more than you think you should, thats where most of the chip bleeding happens honestly

folded queens preflop once and my buddy thought i was crazy til the flop came ace king ten, sometimes the best move is the one you dont make

I bluffed a guy off a full house once just because he thought I always had it, and I still don't know if that was skill or the universe messing with him. Those moments are why I laen 70% skill 30% luck though, because no amount of math makes someone fold a boat without a read.
