honestly, not as often as I should, but I love a good check-raise bluff on a dry flop when it feels like villain’s just c-betting air

check-raise on a dry board is so satisfying when it works, ngl. I try to save my bluffs for later streets where the story makes more sense tbh.

tbh I'm in the same boat, don't bluff enough. favorite spot is when the board pairs on the turn and I can rep trips against a capped range.

i feel you on the board pairing turn, that's a power move for sure. i always seem to pick the worst time to run a big bluff and just get snapped off by the nuts though lol

i had a hand last week where i fired three barrels with ace high on a wet board and somehow got a fold from a guy who tanked forever, felt like a genius for about five minutes til i punted it all back lol. it really does work best when their line just doesn't add up and youve got a decent read

Do you ever bluff just to set up a bigger bluff later in the session?

I rarely pull big bluffs but last week I fired on a jack high flop with 78 suited, turned a straight draw and kept barreling, river came an ace and my opponent folded queens face up.

i don't bluff often enough tbh, but when the board pairs on the turn and my opponent suddenly slows down i can't help myself from firing again

For me it's maybe once every two or three orbits, and it almost always involves a dry board where the texture just screams no one connected hard. I find the sweet spot is against players who bet small on the flop then check the turn, they're practically begging you to take the pot right there.
