I get it but honestly the constant slow pace and folding for hours puts me to sleep. I'd rather just play some faster card games where you actually get hands more often.

I only really got into poker once a coworker started hosting small tournaments at his place and we ended up playing until like 3am with pizza crusts piling up everywhere. The stupidest hand I ever won was when I misread my own cards and bluffed someone off a set of tens with queen high, still cannot believe it worked.

Yep love the vibe of poker nights even though I mostly donate my buy in withn the first hour. I find it way more fun when everyone's half paying attention and cracking jokes instead of taking it too serious.

I respect the skill of good online grinders but I could never stare at a screen folding 80% of hands for hours, live poker with actual physical tells and tablle banter is just way more my speed.
