starlord991 Posted 19 hours ago #26 Posted 19 hours ago yeah bro poker is goat, ngl half the fun is acting calm while teh river got me sweating ?
zexorora0 Posted 17 hours ago #27 Posted 17 hours ago I get it but honestly the constant slow pace and folding for hours puts me to sleep. I'd rather just play some faster card games where you actually get hands more often.
Winexen6 Posted 14 hours ago #29 Posted 14 hours ago kinda surprised seeing all the live poker love here, online cash is just so much more efficient when you actually want to grind volume and not sit around folding for hours lol
kyrxen561 Posted 12 hours ago #30 Posted 12 hours ago not really, it just feels like math homework with more steps
krxanarium34 Posted 12 hours ago #31 Posted 12 hours ago im decent at it but mostly stick to casual home games now, lost way too much chasing straights olnine last year lol. you ever play live or just online tables?
myxni Posted 11 hours ago #33 Posted 11 hours ago do you guuys prefer cash games or tournaments more? i feel like the dynamic is totally different
hollowioarium Posted 10 hours ago #34 Posted 10 hours ago I'd rather play a few messy home games with friends than grind endless online tables any day.
Zyllyn Posted 9 hours ago #36 Posted 9 hours ago i mostly just mess around with play money apps tbh, cant justify losing real cash when i still forget which hands beat what lol. do you prefer tournament style or cash games tho
nyxumzyl18 Posted 9 hours ago #37 Posted 9 hours ago Not really, waiting for cards gets boring too fast.
naloraeari Posted 5 hours ago #38 Posted 5 hours ago I only really got into poker once a coworker started hosting small tournaments at his place and we ended up playing until like 3am with pizza crusts piling up everywhere. The stupidest hand I ever won was when I misread my own cards and bluffed someone off a set of tens with queen high, still cannot believe it worked.
tycrily9 Posted 4 hours ago #39 Posted 4 hours ago Yep love the vibe of poker nights even though I mostly donate my buy in withn the first hour. I find it way more fun when everyone's half paying attention and cracking jokes instead of taking it too serious.
Frankiayver Posted 3 hours ago #40 Posted 3 hours ago I respect the skill of good online grinders but I could never stare at a screen folding 80% of hands for hours, live poker with actual physical tells and tablle banter is just way more my speed.
