Stake V2 "Stop on Loss" not always working

Stakians, I salute you!

I had some fun with playing some games with the new v2 UI and decided to do some auto betting.

I'm not talking large numbers, but somewhere around 10k DOGE is a nice way to play some chat roulette... I mean just roulette.

So, using 1 DOGE bets while creating some 3D models to print, my bets went up to 2k+ rounds, while I set the limit to 500 DOGE...

Tested again with 5 DOGE limit (easy to hit and lose) and it worked fine, now I'm back to some 3000 DOGE, but I lost about 9000 DOGE due to Stop on Loss not working, it stopped cuz I ran out of funds.

Very unfortunate since I trusted the beta to much, but this should be verified and fast ;)

Yours,

AnnaG

These are the disadvantages of playing in the beta version ... Even so, it is grateful to comment on this type of things to be prepared if it happens again

It's more of a bug report but thanks for writing in bold italic tho. I'll just stick to bold!

Just hoping no one would bet such high amounts and maybe dev's can do a little something for me since they do promote the beta pretty hard ;)

Please disable this function, it is broken, 3 times now I have lost over 2k DOGE while I had limit set to 100 DOGE...

This is just a dirty way to suck people dry and an obvious one...

Alpha is where you can have things like that, Beta would NOT be something to go by in a game where alternative fiat is being used on...

Good day.

I tested the Increase on Loss on Roulette and it is working fine. It would be great if you could contact us and tell us all the parameters you set for the auto betting so that we can try to reproduce the issue, if any.

The Stop on Loss parameter is not related to the number of bets, unless you set that parameter (Number of Bets) on auto betting as well.

So, more info would be much appreciated in this situation so that we can locate the issue/misunderstanding. :)

Let me rephrase that, my mistake;

"So, using 1 DOGE bets while creating some 3D models to print, my bets went up to 2k+ doge rounds, while I set the limit to 500 DOGE...
2000DOGE bet was about 8 rounds later from 500 DOGE, thus the limiter skipped 8-ish rounds.
"

I also use the instabet and increase on loss.

Unfortunuatly I was dumb enough but to forget to screenshot it due to having a little panic attack having lose 9k in only a few seconds believing in this system, but here was my 4th attempt at making some cash as seen in the screenshot below.

Thank you for sending the screenshot and for explaining it in detail.

What I see as a potential cause of the issue or maybe even misinterpretation here is that the Live Stats are not reset. The Stop on Loss/Win is calculated based on the current betting session (from Start Autobet to Stop Autobet). When you don't reset the stats, it is very hard to follow how they are changing in that betting session because the numbers and amounts are added to the previous betting session stats, but the current session ones differ. So, I would suggest you test the feature after you reset the stats and follow them from the very beginning.

I will send you a small tip so that you can test with those funds, and not your own. Please give us feedback when you check this. :)

EDIT: The Stop on Loss refers to the overall profit in the current session, not on the bet amount.

Beware, my game account is Annagold, (2x N)
And I understand your answer, but this hasn't been explained clearly on the game pages at all, and frankly all my friends who play (10'ish) where thinking the same way as I did...

Very unfortunate :/

I already sent you a small tip. In case you cannot see the funds on your balance, just refresh the page. ;)

The profit for the Profit on Loss/Win is based on the profit of the current betting session, not on the overall profit, it has always been that way. Just to be easier for you to follow the stats and numbers, you should reset the Live Stats before each new auto betting.

This is still beta testing, so there must be lots of bugs in the game, you can report it in the forum so there are more improvements, don't forget to include screenshots.

This is actually not a bug. As Katarina explained in detail, it works just fine, it's strictly related to a single betting session, and the best way to keep the track is to restart your live stats every time you start a new session.

Keep in mind that received and sent tips/rain while betting also affect your stop on loss/stop on profit. For example, if you made the settings "stop on profit" 0.0001, and you receive tip in that amount, your auto betting session will be stopped, because you now have a profit of 0.0001. I hope that's clear as well. :)

I hope we answered to all the questions you had, and even on a few potential ones on top. :)
