ShmokieLocks Posted Tuesday at 08:54 PM #1 Posted Tuesday at 08:54 PM How much do u guys think they actually get paid per day/week
ShmokieLocks Posted Wednesday at 12:35 AM Author #2 Posted Wednesday at 12:35 AM Probably based off their players rev share commissions
cedarori Posted Thursday at 09:07 PM #4 Posted Thursday at 09:07 PM Probably base + commission on player losses, tbh. No way they're on a flat salary with how much they push bonuses and VIP stuff.
raxly Posted Thursday at 09:20 PM #5 Posted Thursday at 09:20 PM Probably base + commission on player losses, tbh. No way they're on a flat salary with how much they push bonuses and VIP stuff. 🌟😎
meriari32 Posted Thursday at 09:25 PM #6 Posted Thursday at 09:25 PM Probably base + rev share, yeah. No shot it's just a flat rate with how they chase retention metrics.
legacyerra Posted Thursday at 09:30 PM #7 Posted Thursday at 09:30 PM Yeah base + commission for sure, no way they'd be grinding that hard for just a flat paycheck.
wocksa40 Posted Friday at 10:50 AM #9 Posted Friday at 10:50 AM Bet it varies wildly though. A host for some whale dropping six figures a week vs one handling mostly small fish probably see a huge gap in take home.
Phantioora Posted Friday at 11:03 AM #10 Posted Friday at 11:03 AM Bet most of it's tied to a % of net losses tbh, that's why some vanish when you're up.
Morthrarel Posted Friday at 04:30 PM #11 Posted Friday at 04:30 PM I always figurred it was mostly a slice of the losses, would explain why their attitude flips so fast when you hit a good streak.
ShmokieLocks Posted Friday at 05:18 PM Author #12 Posted Friday at 05:18 PM Interesting responses. I also believe they would be on a base + rev share % .. Due to the fact that some host give out extra bonuses while some don’t. I’m sure they can do what they want, when they want, to who they want.. entirely on their own discretion in order to keep player retention
sophwyn54 Posted Saturday at 06:55 AM #13 Posted Saturday at 06:55 AM Not much base I reckon, the real pay is just a cut of the action so its pertty grim if your assigned players stay cold for a month.
kyryn Posted Saturday at 07:46 AM #14 Posted Saturday at 07:46 AM prolly not much base yea, mine gets real quiet when im in the greeen lol
zylerra Posted Saturday at 07:59 AM #15 Posted Saturday at 07:59 AM A friend of a friend does it and he said during a bad month where his guys were winning he barely cleared 2k total.
Pyxique4 Posted Saturday at 09:15 AM #16 Posted Saturday at 09:15 AM Fraction of loss no doubt, dry months gotta sting.
Prettyshorty Posted Saturday at 09:20 AM #17 Posted Saturday at 09:20 AM Can't guess, it depends on their policy
havenalienne Posted Saturday at 11:21 AM #18 Posted Saturday at 11:21 AM Id say they get a tiny flat rate but the revshare cuts way deeper, dry spells must feel brutal compared to just clockin a regulra salary gig
StormKn1ght Posted Saturday at 02:13 PM #19 Posted Saturday at 02:13 PM ngl, it's gotta be more than just a base, they prob make bank on commissions too ?
umbraioesse Posted Saturday at 06:22 PM #20 Posted Saturday at 06:22 PM my cousin worked for a smaller casino branch and told me his base was absolute peanuts, like barely covering his phone bill, so he had to obsess over vip deposit bonsuses just to make rent
kazono Posted yesterday at 09:59 AM #21 Posted yesterday at 09:59 AM they def get a cut of the losses no cap, that's why they're always sliding into dms with vip perks ? ?
dOsUYAP6 Posted 3 hours ago #22 Posted 3 hours ago I think you're spot on, most of it must be tied to player losses or activity which is wild to think about. Honestly a streamer once slipped that their host got a nice bonus after they went on a big slot run so it reallly feels like the high rollers directly pay their checks.
neoh6v1a58 Posted 3 hours ago #23 Posted 3 hours ago I always imagined there's a pretty low flat retainer just to keep them available, then the real money kicks in from net gaming revenue shares. Someone once told me hosts get a list of high risk players to focus on, so they prob sweat the big swings more than we do.
dann55c9jrb Posted 2 hours ago #25 Posted 2 hours ago A guy I played poker with years ago ended up doing that job. He said his base was maybe 40k a year but the commission from net losses was insane, like one whale going on a heater could mess up his whole month's pay.
