Tbh I'm cautiously hyped – Stake's RNG can be wild, so poker might actually be fun if they keep it fair and not rigged to hell.

im leaning towards it being a win for casual players honestly, like the real question is whether the regs will swarm it and scare off the fun tables. if they can keep it more like a party vibe instead of a sweatfest then ill def give it a shot.

I’m waiting to see if they run any legit freerolls or low buy in leaderboards early on, that’s usually the best way to gauge if the player pool is soft or full of grinders rigt off the bat.

Honestly if they run a juicy bad beat jackpot right out the gate this tihng could blow up fast, plus I always wanted to see them add a fast fold mode too so the grind doesn’t get stale. Just hoping the dealing algorithms feel smooth and not rigged like some newer crypto poker rooms.

I think the "what do y'all think" approach on their socials is basically just gauging interest before dropping a real trailer, so the fact they're testing the waters publicly makes me feel like it's pretty far along in development.

My cousin once lost a whole bankroll chasing a straight draw on some shady poker app, so I just hope Stake keeps it clean and actually fast. If they nail the vibe it could be a proper time sink though.
