ashys5 Posted Thursday at 05:40 PM #3 Posted Thursday at 05:40 PM Exactly, no need to overthink it. Jump on some micro tables and you'll pick it up quick fr.
ashys5 Posted Thursday at 08:58 PM #4 Posted Thursday at 08:58 PM Yeah, the basics take like 10 minutes to learn but a lifetime to master tbh
seleneeon Posted Thursday at 09:17 PM #5 Posted Thursday at 09:17 PM Yeah for sure, the barrier to entry is basically nonexistent compared to other games
luxyth Posted Thursday at 09:28 PM #6 Posted Thursday at 09:28 PM yep, low stakes tables are perfect for getting the hang of it without sweating the losses
ashssa53 Posted Thursday at 09:39 PM #7 Posted Thursday at 09:39 PM exactly! yep, low stakes tables are perfect for getting the hang of it without sweating the losses 🎯👑
vexirund Posted Friday at 02:25 PM #9 Posted Friday at 02:25 PM I get what you're saying but honestly a lot of new players freeze up once they realize folding 90 percent of hands means you're mostly just watching the timer tick down. That mental side of just sitting there patiently can be way harder than the rules itself for someone who wants constant action.
frostax Posted Saturday at 06:24 AM #10 Posted Saturday at 06:24 AM yeah the rules are simple but the hard part is sitting there for an hour folding junk while everyone else seems to be havig fun. most people quit before they realize how boring it can be when the cards run cold
umbraxen Posted Saturday at 07:49 AM #11 Posted Saturday at 07:49 AM That waiting game is way easier than trying to bluff with nothing though
thornosys Posted Saturday at 11:58 AM #12 Posted Saturday at 11:58 AM Won my first hand with a paiir of twos.

runeumoria Posted Monday at 06:03 PM #19 Posted Monday at 06:03 PM Poker is easy to start, sure, but nobody mentions how hard it is to stop once you start questioning every fold at 3am
