Keno bug?

Hey, I've been playing keno on the beta 2.0 site and I noticed that every once in a while a bet that shows up as a hit will post as a completely different bet with only a few tiles selected rather than the original 10 I played with.

This bet I posted was originally a 1.4x hit but posted as a loss.

lol I wish, only it that period wasn't there. but yeah it also happens with bets where it shows only 2 hits on a board of 10 but then it posts a 1.6x win so I don't know what's happening with keno

Hello.

If we open the first bet, we can see that it is a losing one: 4 tiles selected, only 1 tile was a chosen.

The second one: also 4 tiles, but 3 were chosen and thus it is a winning bet.

Thank you for the reply Katarina, this issue I'm reporting though is that I've been playing the auto pick 10 bets but every once in a while keno is processing my bets as if I only chose a few tiles so even if I see a 3 tile hit in the game, once the bet posts it shows that I have only pick 4 or so tiles and then I lose that bet.

So I think it may be a bug with the updated version of keno

It's not the only instance of it happening and I don't know how else to show it unless I were to take a video of me playing and capturing it as it happens

It just happened again. I took a screenshot without changing anything and you can see it says 3 hits but it registered as a loss

Would you be able to give us more info on how you played the bets? Did you click fast on the 'start' and 'stop' button several times? Did you play the game on multiple tabs perhaps?

Any additional info will help us be a step closer to understanding what happened.

Of course!

So I've only noticed 4 of the times it happened in my current session ~1 hour

So the way I've been playing is I was using the hotkeys to auto pick 10 numbers before pressing space to play the bet.

It doesn't seem to matter how fast I play the bets because I've caught it happening whether I was playing bets immediately after a game was done or if I waited a minute to play the next bet.

It doesn't seem like this happens when I press the space button multiple times while the game retrieves the results. So as far as I can tell it doesn't seem to play a factor in this.

The only tabs I have open are for Stake 2.0 and the forum.

I'm playing on Google Chrome and don't have anything else running on my computer.

And bet size doesn't seem to be a factor in this because it has happened with multiple bet sizes from 4 bch sat to 128 bch sat. And has happened while I play with ltc as well.

If you could think of any other information I might be able to give that would be helpful please let me know. Thank you!

I suggest you change your server seed so we will be able to verify your bet. The provably fair visual is having a visual bug for other games also

Yeah it happened again, I don't know it doesn't seem like just a visual bug because it registers hits but then posts something different. But I'll change the seed and see what happens

So I got curious of your bet, and since you're not changing your server seed to be able to verify your bet manually, I went to stake v1 which also have a KENO game. Because I personally encountered some visual bugs on the provably fair front end in stake v2, and here is the result in stake v1


So like I said earlier, it's just a visual bug on provably fair in stake v2.

So I'll backtrack a little, so I've been playing around with it a little and it doesn't fully explain all the missed bets but I did notice that if someone presses bet as the numbers are being picked it will result in an error which is what happened with the last two bets and corresponding screenshots I have posted.

But every once in a while I still get one that posts differently even when I play slowly.

I have already given you a link to the tutorial on how to verify bets.

@ekzxc that has been fixed.  

The issue he is experiencing could be related to cookies and cache, so it would be nice if he could clear them and try the game again.

I played Keno quite a lot when I was testing the requirements for a giveaway I was to post, and during those betting sessions, I haven't had the issue stated here. 

If anyone who is experiencing this could give info on when it is happening for them, we perhaps could find the source of the issue.

What are the browsers you are using? Which version/is it updated? Are you playing on Incognito? Anything will help.
