Not sure a money pool on a forum will work out mate, people might just forget to pay and then its a mess. Maybe try smaller bets first to build back slowly?

I saw a similar pool on another forum fall apart in two months because three people vanished after collecting their share. You might be better off using a provably fair system like a smart contract if you really want this to work long term.

tbh i tried this exact setup in a telegram group last year and it was a nightmare keeping track of who sent what. we had like 15 people and by month three only four of us were still chipping in after someone took the 300 dollar pot and just dipped. youd prob have better luck just grinding low stakes blackjack or something imo

That model tends to crash if someone wins early and disappears. If you try it maybe split the pot into 4 weekly winners instead so people stay engaged and feel less pressure to ditch after their turn.

I once joined a 20 person pool for a similar idea but only 6 paid the first month and the orgaizer ghosted us all right after collecting. I’d be cautious with that setup mate.
