A bit about roulette

I wrote a little about roulette in hopes some of you would enjoy as I know roulette is widely enjoyed on stake.
Roulette. A classic casino game. Watch a little ball bounce around while throwing chips on the table. Sounds simple, right? Wrong. While roulette may seem simple and easy to understand, it gets more and more complex the deeper you look. The game is like an iceberg; small and harmless on the surface, deep and complex under the water. Before we get into the complexities of roulette, let’s first look at what the game is on the surface. Roulette is one of the oldest casino games that people still play today. The game originated in the 1700s, though no one really knows how. It’s popularly believed that it sparked from the goddess of fate in medieval mythology. The game, in America, started in New Orleans. It spread up and out fast until it arrived in Canada. The game started with only zero through twenty-eight slots with an extra green eagle slot. The American version of roulette was different than the English version of roulette, though not by much. In America roulette was played in shabby gambling dens while in Europe it was played in high class, expensive casinos. The general rules are simple. The croupier spins the wheel and throws a ball in. Quick, place your bets! Bet on any number, zero to thirty-six. The wheel slows. The ball lands in slot number seven! All those who bet chips on slot number seven, collect your payout. But there are many different approaches to attack this game. There are so many different strategies that it’d be impossible to list all of them. You could do this, you could do that. So many possibilities! Though roulette originated in casinos and gambling dens, online roulette appears to be quite popular now. With straight-up online roulette where the board is on your screen and everything is programmed to a live feed of a croupier spinning the wheel, it’s a diverse community which stake is a part of. thanks for reading this it took me a while and it's just on my knowledge of roulette. appreciate your time.

Is the payout given when it comes to the "green eagle shoot" different from targeting payout with a bet in just 1 number?

or give the same payout? :)

the only thing i don't get if multiple bets are about the same amount..why is divided.. meaning instead of getting the 36x u get the 18x because i made 2 bets at the same amount.. i know probably the chance one of  my number hit is greater then it would be.. oh well ty for breaking down the rules in more detailed

If you wanna work croupier on roullete you must know which is number you hit with ball in interval 2-4 numbers. This is reason to make roullete with 3 colors ( red, black, and one number are green) green one is landmark to see what is roullete position when you throw ball.

Thanks for the information and very thoughtful of you to explain it in a big manner to everyone :) . But in my mind it means like roulette is a game of lucky balls xD

personally i never really got into playing roulette back when i frequented local casinos.. ive always played slots.. only table games i played was poker and the odd times blackjack.. i had friends who only played roulette.. they either won huge, or lose a shit ton for the night as quicly a few minutes.. ive always like to take my time and bet smell hit big kind of mentality, so roulette did not appeal to me that much for that reason.. xD

Since playing here at stake, ive played roulette a few times.. i would either keep hitting with consistency or get trolled where the ball keeps landing on the number beside mine until i bust.. haha xD..

I believe it is a good game to make big profit, but its literally hit and miss type of luck.. xD

Thanks for sharing a little background of roulettes..

Good luck with your games!

Cheers!
