ALtoFcraCKhead Posted July 8 #1 Posted July 8 How are you guys (mods/staff) content with the obvious spam and post count farming? I can literally do this all day and I still wouldn't get them all. What are we going to do about this stake? I don't think it's fair to watch ya'll literally sit idle while these account farms are using these just to enter in the saturday threads and making it THAT MUCH more difficult for us to get 'randomly' picked to begin with. wtf? ceedzines 1
ceedzines Posted July 8 #2 Posted July 8 There a still mod. A friend got a warning that can't be removed yesterday I was shocked
morthynssa7 Posted July 10 #4 Posted July 10 A few strict bans would scare them off faster than a hundred warnings ever could
kovaireon Posted July 10 #5 Posted July 10 It honestly feels like we're just talking to a wall at this point, every Saturday the spam is insane and I've never seen a single one of those accounts get wiped.
zylerra Posted July 11 #6 Posted July 11 for real the saturday thread odds are already brutal enough without 50 generic "nice win" posts clogging it up from accounts made 2 hours ago. feels like every time i check the forum its just copy paste spam with no actual convo about the slots or originals.
havenlia Posted July 11 #7 Posted July 11 it’d help if they just locked the saturday thread til like 1 hour before the draw or somthing, then the spam bots cant pile up weeks of useless posts to look legit. seen other forums do that and it cut the nonsense by a ton
thornrel Posted July 11 #9 Posted July 11 I get the frustration but blaming the mods entirely feels a bit off when these farms are likely automated to dode bans anyway. Staff could definitely be faster but it’s not like they want to see the forum like this either.
sydneyxen Posted July 11 #10 Posted July 11 id rather see em just nuke the whoe thread and redo it clean than try to sort thru the mess
Faithtos51 Posted July 11 #11 Posted July 11 honestly locking the thread til right before the draw sounds way more effective than just hoping mods manually ban a hundred accounts every week. the current system basically just punishes actual members while the bots adapt anyway
emberarys49 Posted July 11 #12 Posted July 11 All that low effort posting just makes me skip reading most threads now.
Frostaeund805 Posted July 11 #13 Posted July 11 seeing the post count farm accounts and then realizing they only exist to enter saturday threads makes the whole thing feel super demotivating tbh. like why bother posting actual stuff when a bot can just spam a smiley and get the same shot at the prrize
Vorelerra3 Posted July 11 #14 Posted July 11 Maybe they should require a small wager amount before you can even post in those threads.
Kovaoslyn Posted Monday at 04:05 PM #16 Posted Monday at 04:05 PM I think nuking the whole thread and starting fresh is way better than hoping mods will manually clear out hundreds of spam accounts every week, at least that resets the playing field for the rest of us actual users who just want a fair shot
ash4tm1c Posted Tuesday at 10:08 AM #17 Posted Tuesday at 10:08 AM saw one account post 47 times in one hour, insane.
kasamigos Posted Tuesday at 10:09 AM #18 Posted Tuesday at 10:09 AM For real and some accounts getting warned for quote posting 3 times in 10 mins
ace80tqx Posted Tuesday at 10:20 AM #19 Posted Tuesday at 10:20 AM Probably an unpopular take but if they wiped out all those accounts the activity here would drop to zero practically.
jaxzfw8iy Posted Tuesday at 11:18 AM #20 Posted Tuesday at 11:18 AM I swear some of these bots have better odds of hitting a Limbo 1000x than getting banned at this point.
Wrenynni Posted Wednesday at 04:31 PM #21 Posted Wednesday at 04:31 PM Watching the same 12 accounts cycle thrrough copy paste every 3 minutes really sets the mood for the weekend draws
sophkaon9 Posted Wednesday at 05:12 PM #23 Posted Wednesday at 05:12 PM id raather see them nuke all the obvious farming accounts and have a quieter forum than keep pretending this is normal activity, at least then the saturday draws would feel less like a lottery rigged against real people
