How are you guys (mods/staff) content with the obvious spam and post count farming?

 

 

I can literally do this all day and I still wouldn't get them all.

 

 

 

What are we going to do about this stake?    I don't think it's fair to watch ya'll literally sit idle while these account farms are using these just to enter in the saturday threads and making it THAT MUCH more difficult for us to get 'randomly' picked to begin with.

It honestly feels like we're just talking to a wall at this point, every Saturday the spam is insane and I've never seen a single one of those accounts get wiped.

for real the saturday thread odds are already brutal enough without 50 generic "nice win" posts clogging it up from accounts made 2 hours ago. feels like every time i check the forum its just copy paste spam with no actual convo about the slots or originals.

it’d help if they just locked the saturday thread til like 1 hour before the draw or somthing, then the spam bots cant pile up weeks of useless posts to look legit. seen other forums do that and it cut the nonsense by a ton

I get the frustration but blaming the mods entirely feels a bit off when these farms are likely automated to dode bans anyway. Staff could definitely be faster but it’s not like they want to see the forum like this either.

honestly locking the thread til right before the draw sounds way more effective than just hoping mods manually ban a hundred accounts every week. the current system basically just punishes actual members while the bots adapt anyway

seeing the post count farm accounts and then realizing they only exist to enter saturday threads makes the whole thing feel super demotivating tbh. like why bother posting actual stuff when a bot can just spam a smiley and get the same shot at the prrize

I think nuking the whole thread and starting fresh is way better than hoping mods will manually clear out hundreds of spam accounts every week, at least that resets the playing field for the rest of us actual users who just want a fair shot

id raather see them nuke all the obvious farming accounts and have a quieter forum than keep pretending this is normal activity, at least then the saturday draws would feel less like a lottery rigged against real people
