A lot of people expected some kind of breakout tournament but honestly that midfield wasnt creating much for him to work with. He showed flashes when he got the ball in space just not enough consistent service to really judge the performance.

Yeah I felt the same, really thought he'd shine more. For me his movement off the ball was pretty static and it made him way too easy for defenders to read.

Yesterday yamal performance is really better compare to last two three matches he really tried to create chances but end with total 4 shot without goal hope he play like that with france✌🏻
