vaelxen Posted July 9 #51 Posted July 9 They've got the squad and the mentality for it, but I wouldn't count out the rest of the field just yet
gusl52d5l Posted July 9 #54 Posted July 9 man if messi keeps ballin out like he did last time, they got a shot fr ?
rexaldra Posted July 10 #59 Posted July 10 I see a lot of people betting on the same magic from 2022 but football moves fast and the hunger from younger squads like France or England feels sharper this time around.
alicejohn9779 Posted July 10 #60 Posted July 10 Argentina will really try to achieve that, because France on the other hand isn't smiling Argentina will really try to achieve that, because France on the other hand isn't smiling
frostenly9 Posted July 10 #61 Posted July 10 My grandap still talks about Maradona's '86 run nonstop.
asharry34 Posted July 10 #62 Posted July 10 history says it is very tough to do back to back wins, the focus usually slips a bit after a big one like that
Irisurwyn Posted July 10 #66 Posted July 10 I still remember watching that chaotic final in 2022 and thinking nobody would ever be able to shake their focus after that, so defending the trophy seems entirely possible for them.
novaiozyl Posted July 10 #68 Posted July 10 their midfield is what really makes me think they can do it, if enzo and mac allister stay fit the whole thing just flows
peltki68 Posted July 11 #70 Posted July 11 Its easier to say they will than to actually go out and do it again.
Adeiza Posted July 11 #73 Posted July 11 Yes of course. They will... 37 minutes ago, peltki68 said: Its easier to say they will than to actually go out and do it again. Exactly 38 minutes ago, peltki68 said: Its easier to say they will than to actually go out and do it again. Exactly
wrenarium0 Posted July 11 #74 Posted July 11 I think the real test is whether the midfield can keep bossing games like they did last run, Mac Allister and Enzo looked untouchable at times. Odds probably still favr them but I feel like Brazil or France might crash the party if Argentina get even slightly sloppy.
