ashys5 Posted 23 hours ago #4 Posted 23 hours ago Real talk, just start with low stakes and don't be afraid to fold bad hands. You'll get the hang of it quick.
tycenne Posted 19 hours ago #5 Posted 19 hours ago Tbh, poker's about learning hand rankings first, then slowly reading the table. Start play money and you'll pick it up quick
hollowanvi Posted 6 hours ago #8 Posted 6 hours ago i lost my first 20 hands chasing a flush before i realized the oddds were terrible
luxarlyn Posted 3 hours ago #9 Posted 3 hours ago forgot the blinds my frist hand. dealer remindded me.
Thornixxen Posted 3 hours ago #10 Posted 3 hours ago did you mean texas holdem specificly, or are you more lost about the rules in general? cos thats the part that confused me at first
ladyseo7 Posted 1 hour ago #11 Posted 1 hour ago my cousin tried teaching me once but he just kept yelling fold whenever i breathed so i learned more from a random app where no one could see me panic over a pair of twos
luxarique Posted 20 minutes ago #12 Posted 20 minutes ago Fold everything except pocket pairs above 8s at first, it sounds broing but it stops you from bleeding chips while you learn. Once you got that down then start slowly adding suited connectors so you actually have some fun.
