I feel like "band for band" only works if the squad actually vibes together, not just on paper. Seen too many stacked teams play like strangers once the whistle blows.

I see what you're saying but I feel like "band for band" skips the whole coaching factor, some squads with lesser names just click better because the system actually fits them. Talent alone won't save you if the manager can't figure out how to use it right.

Look at how much rest the starters had in their club season, that tells you more than the names on paper.

Yeah I remember Argentina last cup had a mid table looking roster on paper but watching them actually play you could see everyone just fit together, big name players were willingly running back on defense which you rarely see.
