Bro poker on stake is lowkey fire if you know what you're doing, the action can be tasty af but don't sleep on the rake lol.

Depends on your goals tbh, if you just wanna have fun and maybe catch a bag it's worth a shot, but the rake no joke fr 😂.

if you're just getting into it, stake's a decent spot to learn the ropes without crazy stakes. just keep an eye on the rake like everyone's saying, it adds up fast lol

If you're new, stick to the micro stakes tables first, way less sharks and you can actually learn without getting rinsed instantly.

I would actually push back on the idea that Stake is a bad starting point. The soft tables at micro stakes let you get a feel for real money play without the pressure of perfect fundamentals right away, just be ready to adjust when you move elsewhere.

honestly if you are completely new to poker i would not start on stake. the player pool is weirdly aggressive even at low limits and you wont learn proper fundamentals that way

ohh fr??

I know a bit about poker but not enough to say I’m not new

Ive dipped in a few times. The micro stakes tables move real slow which might be good if you just wanna practice reading opponents without burning money fast.

Yeah it is a solid place to test the waters, especially if you stick to the smallest tables at first. I actally found it pretty decent for spotting patterns in how casual players overvalue mediocre hands.

last week i sat at a 0.01/0.02 table for like twenty minutes and this one guy shoved all in every time he had ace anything, even ace deuce off suit. its hilarious to watch that stuff play out wehn you are not the one bleeding chips.

id rather mess around at micro stakes for a few hours than sit through another generic slot sesh tbh. at least with poker you feel like you actually lost cuz of a bad decision and not just pure luck eatnig your balance.
