rinahuhu Posted 6 hours ago #27 Posted 6 hours ago Africa is just waiting for time, there are many good players from there wizzyyy 1
verified Dolapo Posted 6 hours ago #33 Posted 6 hours ago They are trying their best look at Morocco and Egypt
imisioluw Posted 6 hours ago #35 Posted 6 hours ago Africa really tried We at least enter group 16 and we in the semi finals again that so great
TheSamuel Posted 6 hours ago #36 Posted 6 hours ago Senegal had the best tournament till their last 10 minutes
jadeienne Posted 4 hours ago #38 Posted 4 hours ago I'd take Morocco's current structure and squad depth over an aging Argentina any day of the week tbh. The way they control the midfield now just feels more sustainable than relying on a moment of magic from Messi
Ryxmia Posted 4 hours ago #39 Posted 4 hours ago Morocco's backline pressure completely rattled that midfield, got me looking at their odds for a deep run right now.
thornoria Posted 3 hours ago #40 Posted 3 hours ago I watched that Egypt Argentina match and honestly thought the Pharaohs had them dead to rights in the last twenty minutes, the press was so aggressive. If Morocco can keep Hakim Ziyech floating between the lines like that they might actually crash the semifinal party, the odds on them are still way too generous.
raxummia Posted 1 hour ago #41 Posted 1 hour ago I see the progress but saying the gap is completely closed feels a bit rushed when no African side has really made it past the quarterfinals yet. Morocco looks fantastic no doubt but consistent deep runs are what would actually prove the point.
Tenyenho Posted 1 hour ago #42 Posted 1 hour ago There's a little change in the traditional way of playing football in Africa then and now, I hope we get better
