I'd take Morocco's current structure and squad depth over an aging Argentina any day of the week tbh. The way they control the midfield now just feels more sustainable than relying on a moment of magic from Messi

I watched that Egypt Argentina match and honestly thought the Pharaohs had them dead to rights in the last twenty minutes, the press was so aggressive. If Morocco can keep Hakim Ziyech floating between the lines like that they might actually crash the semifinal party, the odds on them are still way too generous.

I see the progress but saying the gap is completely closed feels a bit rushed when no African side has really made it past the quarterfinals yet. Morocco looks fantastic no doubt but consistent deep runs are what would actually prove the point.
