Spam Rating

I’m not sure if all are aware that every one has a spam rating as per the announcement “Privacy Changes & Rainbot” and since this rating is hidden, It was not mentioned if for eg.  Our answers in Trivia(s) were excluded from being classified as spam - especially the ones whereby answers are numbers or a single word.

It seems pretty likely that participating in these Trivia(s) would increase our spam rating and then affect our rain chances.

Even after considering that it is based heavily on wagering, it would be good to get an answer so at least... we know? 🤣

I think spam rating is something like saying "Thanks bot" alot xD...

It is highly likely that it the spam rating would be manually handed out by a chat moderator's own judgement as to what is considered spam.

It is very difficult to determine what the algorithm is at this point in terms of the spam rating per user. I guess it is people who post one or two word things in the chat, that would increase their spam count.

I think spam meant that he sent chat 1 or 2 words (not trivia) and also he who just sent their history bet without any information.

Yes that is what I meant. Since there’s an algorithm, I assumed a part of it would automatically increase:decrease your points (adds up to your spam rating) as handing out points manually might skew the system.

Taking into account that infraction points are handed out - just like mutes. This results in a player’s rating being highly dependent on if a mod/support is around to penalise them. 

More importantly, my whole point was just to highlight if there was an automatic part of the algorithm, answering trivia(s) and even posting one word descriptions after a betid might be cause for concern! 🤯

Well, there are positive and negative (more positive than negative) outlook possible for this if true.. I mean, spam trivia shouldn’t really be done in my opinion.. it just incites spammers to do exactly what we do not want happening in chat.. So this may help deter those who repeatedly creates spam like trivias or perhaps not.. I can see this also being abused by the trolls who would create said trivias, to bait the spammers to spam chat to get them on this blacklist (if it exists).. 

I for one, think true or not, players should stop spamming non sense in chat.. the constant tagging, hello, and good luck wishes repeated every minute by the same players are plainly annoying, sorry to say.. some does mean it, and its okay to wish others good luck, but not every minute.. that is just spamming for the sole purpose of either passively wishing for tips or thinking it would make their chances gettng drops more likely.. 

So it is a tricky situation for sure, innocents may get affected, but most definitely will mostly affect the chronic spamming all day begging “players”.. If players keeps this in perspective, knowing that spamming would have this effect and try not to spam, then they have nothing to worry about.. Spam trivias, simply avoid spamming answers.. i know we are all trying to win a trivia question, but spamming just shows desperations to win, and for the usual min tip reward, which is not worth it at all to get blacklisted.. This makes everyone accountable of their own actions, to which leads in getting affected or not by this implementation on rainbot..

i think that if all we say "hi" "hello" is not spam, but saying "thanks you bot" "lol" multiple times or similar things is considered spam

“Heavily based on wagering” i think thats a load of bull to be honest, to make us think that there are insane modifications done besides the fact that hidden = no rain. Other than that i dont think they changed wager amount needed or whathave u at all... my take on rhe rain thang which u brought up above

Spam rating honestly I think it's not real or is based on the amount of times you've been muted. Could just be a scare tactic but I'm probably wrong.

when someone say hi every other second, yes it is spamming.. or saying hi and tagging every single person that shows in rain list or chat saying “hi” yes it is.. when saying hi to their own alt, yes it is spamming... unfortunately i am not even joking, this is a daily occurence of spammers idea of chat..  just in order to recieve rain..

It is not based on wagering i can see that for sure do to the fact that i myself  was on hr a few days ago and people that were in chat spamming other people bet and being passive af were getting rain from the bot and i didn't get a damn thing.

i would prefer increase the time of rest between last messege its 5 seconds increase it to 15 seconds  or even more . maybe it 'll effect well for moderaters t  to handle chat

so im confused, does the bot give the spam rating.... or... ohhhhh i think i just realized how it is, they followed/copied bitvest model im sure..... 

i bet you the mods can "upvote" users who are chatting "constructively" and "downvote" those who are in their opinion spamming i bet  you money this is what they did =P

Spam can be anything in the chat even . could be a spam but if we had to add that to the algorithm then maybe those who use . at the end they would be considered spamming so for this the dev's need to do a lot of think coding.

ok spam ratings should stop on people to say 1 word to catch rain.. why don't they just leave out chat in getting rain.. it all seems every player is getting marked by mods support by how many spam we make.. so wagering is not the only factor but also mods and supports of players rating...well for over an hour and a half i wagered over 1,0 ltc.. without a word in chat.. no rain once..
