tbh i feel like even if he was in a stacked squad like france his role would still clash with the system cause he demands the ball so much. maybe a semis run tops but it still never really clicked in a way that felt inevitable.

Honestly if he had switched to Brazil before 2018 that squad was stacked and the bookies wouldve had them at way shorter odds with him up front. Portugal 2022 was already a solid run but imagine him feeding off Neymar and Vinicius, that frontline woould be unreal.
