i remember staring at a blackjack hand for like a solid minute before the dealer had to call my name, i didnt even know what my total was. just standing up and makking a coffee snapped me out of it, nothing else would have

I think walking away gets preached too often as a magic fix, but honestly if you are that deep in the fog you might just carry it to another site or game five minutes later without addressing why you got there.

i feel like when you reach that stage the only move is to shut everything down and do something physical like wash your face with cold water. do you ever find that trying to chat with someone while you're in that daze just makes it harder to snap out of it

The one time I didn't stop was on blackjack and I started hitting on 17 without even noticing til the dealer called it out. Now if I catch myself just clicking through prompts I literally shut my phone off and go wash my face with cold water.

The fog turned my blackjack session into a blur where I was just hitting on 17 like it made sense, so I closed the table and started scrolling through the soccer live markets just to reset my eyes on something real instead of pure autopilot

Last time I zoned out I accidentally covered a whole row on a keno card and only noticed when my balance was basically fumes, it toook a whole movie and a pizza before I could think straight again
