Sometimes the hardest part is just foldinng when you know you should, no matter how tempting the fresh hand looks. I keep reminding myself that losing less is its own kind of win.

taking your time is the part i always struggle with, like my brain just wants action every hand even when the cards are total junk lol but yeah that discipline part you mentioned hits different after you've donked off half your stack being impatient

I see your point but a fresh start is only truly fresh if you forget the last bad beat fast enough, most people carry the tilt right into the next hand without realising it.

Your "every hand is a fresh start" view hits well, but the tricky part is not letting that mentality erase the lessons from ten seconds ago.
