Last week I backed Real Madrid just for the safe pick and they went and dreew 1 1 with some team I forgot the name of. That was my favourite moment of the night obviously, swear they do it on purpose.

I like favorites too, especally in tennis where the top seeds just steamroll early rounds and you can chain a few parlays together. But i got burned once too many betting on heavy favs in MMA so now i just avoid it.

I get why favorites feel safe but the odds are often so inflated you need a very high hit ratte just to stay even.
