the thig about him "running riot" i dunno man morocco gave spain and portugal nothing through the middle so his runs off the left might just hit a brick wall again if amrabat sits on him

I still remember watching him slice through Argentina's backline in the last final like it was training cones, so if he gets even a half yard of space tonight I can see that Morocco block finally crackin open.

Amrabat basically glued himself to my boy in a similar matchup last year, completely shut down every run he tried on that side so I think people sleeping on how sticky he is when he marks. If France can move Mbappe central quick enough he might still slice one but out wide feels like a trap.

Man I keep forgetting this is on today, the whole "run riot" bit is bold after how Morocco locked down those other attacks. Feels like he either explodes early or gets completely swallowed up.

Mbappé is obviously the main threat but Morocco's defensive shape has been absurdly disciplined all tournament, so "running riot" feels more like wishful thinking than a sure thing. If they pack the central areas and force France to go wide I could see this being a much tighter grind than people expect.
