I don't think it changes the outcome directly, but the perception of bias is already there just because of the Argentina vs France history from the World Cup final. Do you think a controversial call will get blown way out of proportion now just because of who the refs are?

Picking a crew from outside UEFA makes way more sense than trying to find a supposedly neutral team within Europe where everyone has some kind of baggage with France. Honestly Argentina feels like a solid enough choice, their only real history with these teams is just playing them hard on the pitch which is basically every ref's background anyway.

honestly saw a similar thing in a copa libertadores match once where the whole crew was from brazil but the game was chile vs colombia, and the bias was so obvious in every 50/50 call it ended up being a factor for sure. cant help but feel this crew might lean a bit toward the underdog story here, just a hunch tho

I remember Argntina vs Netherlands in that world cup match the ref basically let everything go and cards were flying for no reason at times so it could get messy if this crew has a similar loose style

It may create suspicion, but there is no reason to assume bias before the match.
