Doseevnda Posted yesterday at 09:57 AM #26 Posted yesterday at 09:57 AM Probably the most logical pick if you think about it, they're about as far removed from both camps as you can get geographically. Still feels a bit odd though given how recent that final was.
legacyynna Posted yesterday at 11:37 AM #27 Posted yesterday at 11:37 AM Argentina crew feels weird after their final against France
RadanReaper Posted yesterday at 11:58 AM #28 Posted yesterday at 11:58 AM hakimi is different level bro
vexftai4st Posted yesterday at 12:26 PM #29 Posted yesterday at 12:26 PM bro its all about the vibe and morocco been proving everyone wrong this tourney ?
drakula9 Posted yesterday at 12:26 PM #30 Posted yesterday at 12:26 PM But 3 main referee for Argentina is Portuguese, so it's fair if you ask me
Emma2242 Posted yesterday at 12:27 PM #31 Posted yesterday at 12:27 PM Thanks for the info, very helpful.
Ajadialao Posted yesterday at 12:28 PM #36 Posted yesterday at 12:28 PM Yes but the referee did well yesterday. Kudos to them
zexixoria Posted 21 hours ago #39 Posted 21 hours ago I don't think it changes the outcome directly, but the perception of bias is already there just because of the Argentina vs France history from the World Cup final. Do you think a controversial call will get blown way out of proportion now just because of who the refs are?
nixup3bluda Posted 12 hours ago #40 Posted 12 hours ago ngl feels kinda sus on paper but i dont think it changes much, refs still gotta do teh job lol ?
meriari32 Posted 6 hours ago #41 Posted 6 hours ago Interesting Argentia is providing the whole crew for this, might spice up the odds on a tight first half.
Norra Posted 6 hours ago #42 Posted 6 hours ago Picking a crew from outside UEFA makes way more sense than trying to find a supposedly neutral team within Europe where everyone has some kind of baggage with France. Honestly Argentina feels like a solid enough choice, their only real history with these teams is just playing them hard on the pitch which is basically every ref's background anyway.
Vorlyn Posted 5 hours ago #44 Posted 5 hours ago honestly saw a similar thing in a copa libertadores match once where the whole crew was from brazil but the game was chile vs colombia, and the bias was so obvious in every 50/50 call it ended up being a factor for sure. cant help but feel this crew might lean a bit toward the underdog story here, just a hunch tho
phantirna Posted 4 hours ago #45 Posted 4 hours ago I remember Argntina vs Netherlands in that world cup match the ref basically let everything go and cards were flying for no reason at times so it could get messy if this crew has a similar loose style
gauzeurtos Posted 1 hour ago #46 Posted 1 hour ago Probably fine as long as nobody asks them about the hanbdall rule from the final.
