Honestly I think the Yankees Red Sox is a bit overhyped, the Cardinals Cubs has way more small town spite baked in.

Cardinals Cubs is the one that always felt way more intense to me because it is just two fanbases stuck together in the same region for over a century with no escape. I sat through a rain delay at Wrigley once and the arguing between fans never even slowed down, it was honestly more entertaining than the game.

I always thought it was kind of interresting that the Cubs and Cardinals managed to keep it so bitter despite being in the same division forever without a real championship defining moment between them.
