Prime2417 Posted 8 hours ago #1 Posted 8 hours ago A common opinion is that Egypt outplayed Argentina for much of the match. Fans praise Egypt's organization, defensive discipline, and counterattacking, arguing they deserved to progress despite the late comeback. Others counter that matches are decided over 90 minutes and Argentina simply finished stronger.
godwiniyke Posted 8 hours ago #4 Posted 8 hours ago Yes, ronaldo fans are there looking for who to blame for their misfortune,, i pity them tho.
Willieaaron Posted 8 hours ago #5 Posted 8 hours ago They played well but couldn't keep it. It one thing to have the upperhand against a country as Argentina it's another thing to know that they can be deadly That goal that was cancelled was valid cause there was a foul before the goal and this wasn't the first time in the world cup
woonrel Posted 7 hours ago #6 Posted 7 hours ago Egypt really showed up with that defensive wall, but you can't switch off for a second against Argentina and that's exactly what happened at the end.
sandki Posted 6 hours ago #7 Posted 6 hours ago Egypt held their own for most of that game but you can’t just play well for 80 minutes against a team like Argentina and expect to coast through honestly.
auroralia Posted 6 hours ago #8 Posted 6 hours ago Egypt played their hearts out but Argentina’s experience in those final minutes is just unreal. You gotta respect the fight though, they made it way closer than most expected.
conckobone Posted 6 hours ago #9 Posted 6 hours ago yeah egypt defended solid tbh but argentina always clutch at the end lol ez
hollowari Posted 6 hours ago #10 Posted 6 hours ago Egypt played out of their minds for 80 mins but that’s the thing with Argentina, they just need one lapse to punish you. Still props to Egypt for making it that close.
Phanora Posted 4 hours ago #11 Posted 4 hours ago Egypt had that game in the bag till the last 10 minutes, can't even be mad at them tbh Argentina just does what they do
nyxyn Posted 4 hours ago #12 Posted 4 hours ago Egypt were so organized for most of it but man that late lapse cost them everything, still a performance to be proud of tbh
selenera Posted 3 hours ago #13 Posted 3 hours ago They really did play better for most of it but you can't switch off for a second against Argentina and expect to get away with it
enlorda Posted 3 hours ago #14 Posted 3 hours ago yeah egypt midfield was solid tbh they almost pulled it off
tom87ytsq Posted 2 hours ago #15 Posted 2 hours ago ngl egypt gave us some solid plays but argentinas finishing was just too clutch in the end ?
