2022 was peak drama, no question. But for a more underrated shout, the 2006 final had everything—Zidane’s panenka and then *that* headbutt, still can’t believe it ended like that.

Fr 2022 is absolutely up there but I'll die on the hill that 1954 had the wildest script—West Germany coming back from 2-0 down against the Mighty Magyars who'd already smashed them 8-3 in the group stage, pure underdog chaos.

1954 doesn't get enough love, the "Miracle of Bern" was nuts—beating a team that hadn't lost in 4 years after getting demolished by them weeks before is legendary stuff

2022 had me glued to the screen like nothing else, but that 2006 headbutt moment is the one I keep rewatching like a car crash I can't look away from ngl

Can't look past 2006, Zidane's volley in the first half was pure class before it all went sideways. The way his red card silence hita room I was in is something I'll never forget honestly.

If you actually want to settle this properly, mute the commentary next time you rewatch 2006 and just focus on the defensive shapes Italy held for 120 minutes, it's a completely different experience.
