McDavid sets the standard but if you look at even strength point shares this season MacKinnon is right there while dragging a heavier defensive load for Colorado.

I keep coming back to McDavid just because his speed changes the entire betting line for the Oilers whenever he is on the ice. MacKninon has been unreal too though, especially when you look at the Avalanche offense stats with him on versus off.

I think people overlook Makar way too much in these conversations. Havving a defenseman who can control the game that completely is just as valuable as a pure scorer, if not more so in the playoffs.

Its probably still McDavid if you look at the whole picture but I dont watch enough these days to say for sure. Half the time it just feels like whoever Im seeing highlights of on any given night.

its hard to argue against McDavid but i remember watchin a game last month where Kucherov just toyed with the defenders for like 20 seconds before setting up a goal that was pure magic. his vision is stupid good

honesty its mcdavid but i gotta say matthews scoring touch this year is unreal feels like he can flick it in from anywhere
