Andreid Posted Friday at 08:00 AM #26 Posted Friday at 08:00 AM just log off and watch some sports instead, resets my head way better
steinique Posted Friday at 08:47 AM #27 Posted Friday at 08:47 AM I just drop stakes and grind through it like a robot unitl the numbers turn around.
yxarenne Posted Friday at 08:53 AM #28 Posted Friday at 08:53 AM I once rage quit a session mid downswing and deep cleaned my entire apartment for two hours straight, came back and actually booked a small win. Sometimes stepping away into something mindless and productive resets the tilt meter better than staring at graphs ever could.
Irisurwyn Posted Friday at 09:24 AM #29 Posted Friday at 09:24 AM honestly i just stop looking at the graph and accept that im gonna lose for a while its weird but when i expect to lose it bothers me less. also i force myself to only play half as many tables so my stupider decisions dont compound so fast
Doseanyth Posted Friday at 09:33 AM #31 Posted Friday at 09:33 AM Touching grass with the dog wins every time over staring at stats, my head clears way faster that way
Ladyseo243 Posted Friday at 10:04 AM #32 Posted Friday at 10:04 AM That feeling when your bluffs keep getting picked off is the worst. I literally just switch to playing like a super nit for a day until my confidence comes back a bit.
jadekana Posted Friday at 01:18 PM #33 Posted Friday at 01:18 PM dog therapy beats staring at graphs anyday
kendalliryx Posted Friday at 04:22 PM #34 Posted Friday at 04:22 PM I just remind myself the math styas clean even when AA loses four times in a row.
sophorund016 Posted Friday at 05:56 PM #35 Posted Friday at 05:56 PM I just switch to literally folding anything below jacks for a few orbits no joke it feels dumb but watching other people's showdowns without stress clears my head faster than forcing volume
vaelosan Posted Saturday at 02:40 AM #36 Posted Saturday at 02:40 AM I just frce myself to walk away and clean something in the kitchen, it’s surprisingly good at clearing my head.
frostnda Posted Saturday at 06:32 AM #37 Posted Saturday at 06:32 AM I oepn a second table with lower stakes just to fold everything.
thorness Posted Saturday at 12:30 PM #38 Posted Saturday at 12:30 PM pocket pairs getting cracked is the wosrt
norva3 Posted Saturday at 03:17 PM #39 Posted Saturday at 03:17 PM i do one thing only until the fog clears, no mutisit at all
wrenolxen Posted Saturday at 07:10 PM #40 Posted Saturday at 07:10 PM Taking a break works but I think studying fixes the root cause faster.
Pyxirry2 Posted yesterday at 05:12 AM #41 Posted yesterday at 05:12 AM Honestly shutting it all down cold works for me but not because I forget about it, more like I just need to physically walk away so my body stops associating my chair with losing. Still feels awful tho.
ladyly Posted yesterday at 08:31 AM #42 Posted yesterday at 08:31 AM I actually step away and do something completely unrelated with my hands, like cooking a meal that requires chopping a ton of veggies, because the repetitive motion forces my brain to slow down. Giving myself a strict two hour return window also stos the "just one more buyin" trap dead in its tracks.
flanderee Posted yesterday at 08:45 AM #43 Posted yesterday at 08:45 AM tbh i just switch to sports betting for a bit, way less tilting when you can just blame the ref ?
gusuhx72qv Posted 4 hours ago #44 Posted 4 hours ago I like to set a concrete stop loss rule based on buy ins rather than time, then physically stand up and walk outside for five minutes as soon as I hit it. That tiny change of scenery keeps me from chasing and helps me admit the session is over before the tilt takes the wheel.
ben99bmry Posted 4 hours ago #45 Posted 4 hours ago Taing breaks works but I prefer analyzing a few hands fresh.
