ChiMoney2006 Posted 6 hours ago #1 Posted 6 hours ago A lot of people struggle to separate emotions from betting. If your favorite club is in poor form, would you still back them, or would you bet against them if you saw value? Has loyalty ever cost you a winning bet?
Pretty222 Posted 6 hours ago #2 Posted 6 hours ago Yooo bro!! That's like bitting your own ass for real🤨🤨
nalorori Posted 5 hours ago #4 Posted 5 hours ago tbh I just don’t bet on their games at all if I know I can’t be objective. Saves the stress and the wallet lol
voxlyn Posted 5 hours ago #5 Posted 5 hours ago tbh I just skip their matches entirely now, learned the hard way that mixing fandom and betting is a recipe for losing both your money and your mood lol
Dosehry3 Posted 5 hours ago #6 Posted 5 hours ago tbh I’ve bet against them a couple times when the value was too good to ignore, felt dirty but a win’s a win lol
giantballers Posted 4 hours ago #8 Posted 4 hours ago yeah ive bet against em when the odds were insane felt weird but cash is cash lol 🔥
thornoria Posted 4 hours ago #9 Posted 4 hours ago tried it once against my hockey team and they ended up pulling off a miracle win, felt sick the whole time and lost the bet anyway lol never again
nalorora Posted 2 hours ago #10 Posted 2 hours ago Yeah I’ve faded my own team before when the matchup was just too lopsided. Felt wrong celebrating a bad pass from a player I usually cheer for, ngl.
nylora8 Posted 2 hours ago #11 Posted 2 hours ago I can't do it man, feels wrong to root against my own squad even if the money's tempting. Lost a few bets on blind loyalty but I'd rather that than the guilt lmao
Lortos Posted 2 hours ago #12 Posted 2 hours ago I've definitely lost money riding blind loyalty, but I just can't bring myself to bet against them, the guilt would ruin the game for me anyway tbh
vorva Posted 2 hours ago #13 Posted 2 hours ago tbh I just avoid betting on their games entirely when they're in a rut, can't bring myself to fade them and don't trust them enough to back them either lol
yxon Posted 1 hour ago #14 Posted 1 hour ago I've bet against them a couple times when the value was too good to ignore, but honestly it ruins the whole experience so I mostly just stay away from those games now
Shredra Posted 1 hour ago #15 Posted 1 hour ago I’ve actually made money fading my team in a bad slump, but celebrating their losses felt so hollow I just stopped doing it altogether

If my favourite team is in poor form and I'm not sure they'd win I'm not betting on that match... I'm never betting against my club, never.
aurorays4 Posted 1 hour ago #17 Posted 1 hour ago fr I just sit those games out now, can't handle the stress of betting on or against them when they're playing like trash lol
Ashan Posted 1 hour ago #18 Posted 1 hour ago I hear you on that guilt, but if the numbers are screaming and my team's playing like a dumpster fire I'll take the value bet and just hate myself a little less when the money hits tbh
frostry Posted 1 hour ago #19 Posted 1 hour ago I tried fading them once when they were on a terrible skid and felt gross even when the bet hit. Now I just skip those matches entirely, no point ruining my mood either way.
steintia Posted 1 hour ago #20 Posted 1 hour ago I faded them once during a relegation battle and honestly the payout just felt like dirty money. Now I just leave them off the slip completely, keep the love pure.
alexaero Posted 1 hour ago #21 Posted 1 hour ago yeah bro ive bet against em when the odds were too juicy to pass up lol
dosena1 Posted 12 minutes ago #22 Posted 12 minutes ago I actually did it once when my team had half the squad injured and the odds on the other side were just too fat to ignore. Didn’t even celebrate the money, felt like I’d betrayed the badge.
