zexixoria Posted 3 hours ago #26 Posted 3 hours ago I have been spamming hyper trbo MTTs lately and the pure adrenaline of a final table with three people left makes cash games feel like watching paint dry. My actual bankroll says cash is more reliable profit long term, but I cannot lie, I keep reloading those tournaments anyway.
runeixienne Posted 3 hours ago #27 Posted 3 hours ago man the buzz of final tabling an mtt is unreal and cash just cant touch that, but my roll took a beating from those 5 hour sessions where you bust just before the money. i actually prefer plo cash for steady wins lately bc the edge over recs is so much clearer.

Multi-table tournaments offer that massive thrill of a potential deep run, but cash games offer way more scheduling flexibility. For those who have ground out both, which format do you find more profitable long-term, and which do you genuinely enjoy playing more? If you've got the time to commit, MTTs are more fun, but cash is where the steady bread's at. Hdi On 7/9/2026 at 6:21 PM, selenena said: I'm with you on the scheduling thing tbh. Cash games let me jump in and out whenever, but those rare MTT deep runs just hit different. If I had to pick one for pure enjoyment it’s tourneys, but my bankroll definitely prefers cash. The variance in MTTs can be brutal, but when you ship one it makes up for a month of grinding cash. Jdudue On 7/9/2026 at 6:21 PM, selenena said: I'm with you on the scheduling thing tbh.
