Sporting's setup under Amorim turned loan players into monsters, like that Pedro Porro revival, so I could actually see Derry doubling his value over there if he gets proper minutes and not just bench duty.

Tbh I saw him play live once when he came on as a sub in the PL2 playoffs and his first touch under pressure was way cleaner than I expected, no pannic at all. Might actually suit the Portuguese league better than the Championship tbf.

That loan move actually makes a lot of sense, he needs regular senior minutes badly and staying at Chelsea just means more under 21 football or a 5 minute cameo every other month
