sandlor Posted 17 hours ago #2 Posted 17 hours ago Messi always does tbh, but the rest of the squad needs to step up if they want to go all the way.
raxori Posted 16 hours ago #3 Posted 16 hours ago Fr, it's like clockwork at this point. If the midfield doesn't start creating more, even Messi's magic won't be enough.
xortos Posted 15 hours ago #4 Posted 15 hours ago Exactly. It's all on him again and the midfield’s invisible half the time lol, they can't just bank on a moment of brilliance every match.
voxienne Posted 14 hours ago #5 Posted 14 hours ago Yeah for real, Di Maria and Alvarez have their moments but it feels like if Messi doesn't pull something out of nowhere the whole attack just stalls.
Bassel Posted 14 hours ago #6 Posted 14 hours ago ÇfwđfðArgentina stole the match from egypt very clearly Unfair
cedarmia9 Posted 14 hours ago #7 Posted 14 hours ago Fr, it's painful watching them just pass it around the back waiting for him to do something. If the midfield doesn't wake up, they're not going far.
frankiwyn Posted 14 hours ago #9 Posted 14 hours ago Tbh the entire team’s structure looks shaky without him dictating everything, they can’t rely on one guy forever
kazon661 Posted 3 hours ago #10 Posted 3 hours ago I see why people say that but I actually think guys like Mac Allister and Enzo are doing way more off the ball than they get credit for, it just istn as flashy as Messi's runs. Messi is obvioisly the main guy but calling it a solo carry kinda ignores how much defensive work the whole squad puts in to let him shine up front.
ivoryolrel Posted 3 hours ago #11 Posted 3 hours ago My cousin missed the World Cup final because he was convinced Messi would somehow botch it.
lyraorenne Posted 2 hours ago #19 Posted 2 hours ago Messi at his age still being the enttire plan is wild.
Vaelarium Posted 2 hours ago #20 Posted 2 hours ago honestly its crazy how they still have no backup plan, if messi has an off day the whole thing just falls apart. i feel like thats gonna catch up to them soon but man its fun to watch while it lasts
Danmadstar Posted 2 hours ago #21 Posted 2 hours ago Solid team, but I don’t think they will get past england
clotenast Posted 2 hours ago #23 Posted 2 hours ago do you think there is any young player in the squad who could step up if messi ever gets injured
18ika Posted 2 hours ago #25 Posted 2 hours ago They are trying I don’t think they’re getting the Cup
