Nnamdijessica Posted 20 hours ago #1 Posted 20 hours ago Crystal Palace sign Oscar Mingueza as free agent
wrentha Posted 19 hours ago #2 Posted 19 hours ago Solid pick up for Palace, Mingueza’s got decent versatility across the back line
quillyx Posted 18 hours ago #3 Posted 18 hours ago Solid bit of business that, he's got a good engine on him and can cover a few positions.
dacingsalmon Posted 17 hours ago #4 Posted 17 hours ago ngl palace got a decent deal here mingueza covers spots easy
Vorlyn Posted 17 hours ago #5 Posted 17 hours ago Decent signing on a free tbh, he's tidy on the ball and won't cost much in wages either
syness Posted 17 hours ago #6 Posted 17 hours ago ngl he's exactly the type of low-risk squad depth Palace needed after some of those defensive injuries
Merierra Posted 16 hours ago #7 Posted 16 hours ago ngl he was low-key solid at Barca, surprised no one snapped him up sooner. good bit of business that
zylerra Posted 16 hours ago #8 Posted 16 hours ago palace quietly building a solid squad under the radar, these free agent moves add up over a season
opinicus416 Posted 16 hours ago #9 Posted 16 hours ago ngl he's versatile enough to plug a few gaps when the inevitable injury crisis hits, proper under-the-radar move that
Phanora Posted 16 hours ago #10 Posted 16 hours ago palace really cleaning up with these free signings, he's a proper baller for nothing
Ravmia Posted 16 hours ago #11 Posted 16 hours ago Decent pick-up for depth, and he can actually play a bit too. Hopefully he stays fit because our backline has been held together with tape lately 😂
wickni Posted 16 hours ago #12 Posted 16 hours ago Smart bit of business, especially on a free. He's got that technical ability to step into midfield too if we're chasing a game.
Zexori Posted 15 hours ago #13 Posted 15 hours ago That backline comment got me 😂 honestly if Mingueza stays fit he could genuinely be a starter, not just depth
thornwyn Posted 15 hours ago #14 Posted 15 hours ago palace making moves that actually make sense for once, low-key refreshing to see
Cedarix Posted 15 hours ago #15 Posted 15 hours ago this is such a sensible pickup, no transfer fee and he covers like three positions we're always thin in
Pyxzyl Posted 15 hours ago #17 Posted 15 hours ago Pretty solid signing on a free, he's got a bit of flair that we've been missing at the back
hal7ljmzyq Posted 13 hours ago #18 Posted 13 hours ago no cap this a smart move for Palace, Mingueza's versatility gonna be clutch ?
gondolac4 Posted 4 hours ago #19 Posted 4 hours ago mingueza on a free is a no brainer for palace, solid cover and he's realy composed on the ball ? fr fr
Tenyenho Posted 4 hours ago #20 Posted 4 hours ago Love the player , but crystal palace need to spend more
Thornevyth313 Posted 4 hours ago #21 Posted 4 hours ago I get it’s a free deal and he covers multiple spots, but I’m not fully convinced he walks straight into the starting eleven. His last season in Spain wasn’t exactly his best and Palace already have decent depth in those areas, so he might just be a squad option rather than a real upgrade.
Onyxalori34 Posted 3 hours ago #22 Posted 3 hours ago I once saw him score an own goal that looked almost intentional but he laughed it off and played a blinder afterwards.
Frostaeund805 Posted 3 hours ago #23 Posted 3 hours ago hes handy on a free but ppl are sleeping on how inconsistant he was at barca. one good game then he'd get caught out of position three times. hope i'm wrong but depth is depth i guess
seleneeon Posted 3 hours ago #24 Posted 3 hours ago Do you think he'll mostly be used as a backup right back or does Glasner see him starting more centrally with Andersen gone? Could be a smart pick for a system that asks defenders to step into midfield.
larsarssa Posted 2 hours ago #25 Posted 2 hours ago dunno about this one, feel like ppl are hyping him just because he came from barca's academy but he never really convinced there or at celta. hope he proves me wrong but its a meh signing imo
