I get it’s a free deal and he covers multiple spots, but I’m not fully convinced he walks straight into the starting eleven. His last season in Spain wasn’t exactly his best and Palace already have decent depth in those areas, so he might just be a squad option rather than a real upgrade.

hes handy on a free but ppl are sleeping on how inconsistant he was at barca. one good game then he'd get caught out of position three times. hope i'm wrong but depth is depth i guess

Do you think he'll mostly be used as a backup right back or does Glasner see him starting more centrally with Andersen gone? Could be a smart pick for a system that asks defenders to step into midfield.
