That free agent part is the key, if it doesn't work out there's no real financial hit and you can move him on later. Low risk for a player who can at least plug a few gaps when injuries hit.

If he starts i think just watch how he handles switches of play cos that was where he got exposed loads at celta. glasner probly just needs him to keep it simple and not get caght ball watching

honestly my celta supporting mate was furious they let him go for nothing, reckons he was their best passer out the back last season, even if his concentration dips now and then. could be a quiet bargain if glasner just wants a ball playing defender and doesn't mind the odd moment of madness.

I watched him closely when he filled in at right back against Real Sociedad and he got spun about three times in the first half hour, never looked comfortable at all. Hoping that was just a bad day but it stuck with me
