Many sportsbooks reward loyal customers with bonuses, free bets, and VIP perks, but should players who consistently lose also receive better odds as a form of retention? Some argue that rewarding losing bettors with occasional boosted odds could improve customer satisfaction and keep casual players engaged. Others believe odds should always reflect the true probability of an event, and offering personalized prices would be unfair and could undermine trust in the betting market. Do you think sportsbooks should give long-term losing players better odds, or should everyone always receive the exact same prices?

Nah, that'd just be openly admitting the odds aren't fair to begin with tbh. They already give losing players plenty of "rewards" disguised as free bets and deposit matches anyway.

It's already happening just in a different wrapper, those VIP reload bonuses and loss-back offers are basically personalized odds for losing players.

They're already doing it though, just calling it a "risk-free bet" or "loyalty bonus" instead of better odds. Same thing, different label.

They already do, just not in a way that's obvious. All those reload bonuses and "boosted" bet tokens are basically a roundabout way of giving worse players better value without messing with the core odds.

Ngl they already do this indirectly with all the loss-back promos and VIP stuff, straight-up adjusting the odds would just make it too obvious and probably scare off the sharps even more.

i dont know, feels like actually tweaking the odds would just confuse casuals even more. like they get a boost and then the line still moves and they think the book is scamming them whhen they lose.

I get the idea but it feels a bit off to me, if the odds themselves change for losing players then the market stops being transparent. Casuls might not notice but anyone comparing prices across books would just see Stake as having softer lines and that could hurt their reputation long term.

The problem with personalized odds is you’d essentially be building a reputation system where a proven loser has a diferent price than a sharp hitting the same bet, and that undermines the whole point of a betting market. I’m fine with them tossing freebies or loss rebates but the base odds should stay uniform.
