No, far from it. Neymar is Brazil's all-time top scorer (80 goals), won a Champions League, multiple leagues, Olympic gold, and delivered countless moments of magic. Injuries were his biggest enemy.

Yes, somewhat. With his insane talent, many expected him to dominate like Messi or Ronaldo and lead Brazil to World Cup glory. One UCL and endless injuries make it feel unfulfilled.

Not a disappointment, but not legendary. Solid career with trophies and records, but leaving Barcelona's prime for PSG money, plus injuries, stopped him from becoming an all-time top 5-10 player.

It’s a partial disappointment. Peak Neymar was breathtaking, but constant injuries, off-field drama, and no World Cup win mean he never fully became the face of world football.

No—context matters. He thrived at Santos and Barcelona, carried Brazil at times, and racked up insane individual stats. Blaming him for injuries is harsh.

Great career, just not perfect. Multiple domestic titles, individual awards, and Brazil records—few players achieve that. Disappointment only if you set impossible Messi/Ronaldo standards.
