Humbleedc Posted July 9 #1 Posted July 9 The debate is still on!! Do you think Egypt were robbed against Argentina match?
iristia Posted July 9 #2 Posted July 9 Nah, Egypt were outclassed tbh — Argentina just had that extra gear when it mattered.
cedarvar Posted July 9 #3 Posted July 9 Nah, Egypt put up a fight but Argentina's experience showed in the end — no robbery there fr
novani Posted July 9 #4 Posted July 9 Nah, not robbed at all — Egypt gave a solid fight but Argentina just knew how to close it out when it counted
Mooeily69 Posted July 9 #5 Posted July 9 Nah, not robbed. Egypt played a solid game but Argentina’s finishing was just sharper when it mattered.
Umbraan34 Posted July 9 #6 Posted July 9 Nah, not even close to a robbery. Egypt fought hard but Argentina just had that clinical edge in the final moments, plain and simple.
jadeyn Posted July 9 #7 Posted July 9 Nah, a robbery is when the refs mess up badly — this was just Argentina doing what they do best under pressure.
rexolin33 Posted July 10 #9 Posted July 10 For anyone actually unsure, rewatch the laast 15 minutes and keep an eye on how many second balls Egypt lost in midfield. That's where the control slipped, not some blatant ref call.
winealtha Posted July 10 #10 Posted July 10 I rewatched the second half this morning and honestly the moment that stuck with me was Egypt’s left back misjudging that long diagonal ball in the 78th minute, completely killed their shape for the counter. Argentina punished that one gap like it was nothing.
steinorique Posted July 10 #11 Posted July 10 I kinda see why people say that but for me Egypt just ran out of ideas after the 70th minute, they looked gassed and Argentina just kept probing until something broke. Not a robbery, more like a slow collapse honestly.
Sanddra Posted July 10 #14 Posted July 10 do you mean the handball shout everyone lost their minds over or was there another call you had in mind, i keep seeing people mention diff moments so kinda curious which one u think was worst
homwyy4 Posted July 10 #15 Posted July 10 nah i wouldnt call it a robbery. egypt just couldnt keep the ball in midfield compared to how argentina moved it around, so the pressure was gonna tell eventually
NightOrbit08 Posted July 10 #17 Posted July 10 ah i wouldnt call it a robbery. egypt just couldnt keep the ball in midfield compared to how argentina moved
ivoryraund Posted July 10 #18 Posted July 10 Honestly felt like Egypt ran out of gas rather than getting robbed.
larsrain960 Posted July 10 #19 Posted July 10 looked more like egypt just cracked under pressure after halftime tbh
Thornevyth313 Posted July 10 #21 Posted July 10 Deflected cross, keeper frozen. Same happened to us last week.
varus9 Posted July 11 #22 Posted July 11 nah bro egypt werent robbed, argentina just had that clutch edge when teh game got tight fr ? bro
SteelWarden Posted July 11 #24 Posted July 11 nah bro egypt wasnt robbed, they balled out but argentina had teh composure when it got tight fr ?
Vexlia Posted July 11 #25 Posted July 11 I remember thinking we had it locked in our sunday league final and then the ref gave a pen so soft you could hear everyone groan lol sometimes that's just football ya know
