all these big travel dreams sound nice but honestly I think building real stability at home is way underrated. everyone wants to run off to Bali but sometimes the harder thing is sticking around and making a proper community where you already are

I told myself three years ago I'd be fluent in Spanish by now, and I still just nod and smile whenever someone speaks fast. Still, I'm pushing for a remote gig where I can work from a cabin in the mountains, even if I never learn a single new word.
