I had like 15 people I'd call "friends" back in uni but when my car broke down at 2am only 2 actually picked up the phone, thaat kinda says it all. Quality just hits diffrent when things go sideways.

I once spent a whole night helping a friend pack for a sudden move and we barely even talked, just worked in sync because we knew each other that well. That one night always reminds me why a handful of deep friendships will allways outshine a crowd of surface level ones.
