Tbh he's doing bits at Villa but Arsenal need someone who walks straight into that LW spot, not another guy who needs time to cook.

He is in that weird spot where he is too good for the bench but not yet polished enough to start week in week out for a title chasing side. I actually think he would cook in a system that lets him roam a bit more centrally instead of being stuck out wide all game.

Think he’d be like a lively cup game option but catn picture him locking down that role week in week out in the league just yet. Feels more like a smart bet for some team outside the top four that’d start him every match.

Watched him live against us last season and he kept drifting into half spaces where Ødegaard already operates, the overlap just cluttered everythig in the final third. Feels like a signing that looks smart on paper but muddies the system unless Arteta drastically shifts how we build attacks.

Every time I see a player linked with us and the question is just "is he good for arsenal" I wonder if people mean for the starting XI or for the bench because those are two wildly different answers for someone like Rogers.

honestly the lads got that raw pace and diirectness we sometimes lack but hes more of a super sub vibe right now, wouldnt lump on him to start at 1.85 odds or anything

If we’re talking starter I don’t see it yet, his end product is way too inconsistent for a team trying to push City. As a bench spark though he could cause prblems with that pace, much better gamble for cup runs than throwing him into the deep end in the league.

He runs hard and that directness is something we could use but I worry he'd just be another body who fluffs too many chances when it matters.

Rogers definitely fits taht chaotic winger profile who can make things happen out of nothing, but his final ball is still a bit of a coin toss. Feels like he'd shine more against tired legs where his lack of polish gets masked a little

For me it really comes down to whether you see him filling that Martinelli type role or just being a chaos option late in matches, cause his work rate is there but the decision making in the final third still feels a bit raw. Do you think he’d actually suit our system or would we have to adjust how we play just to get the best out of him
