pedro70 Posted Friday at 05:57 AM #2 Posted Friday at 05:57 AM fr fr just fold pre more often, saved me so much money fr ?
novaaerel447 Posted Friday at 11:17 AM #3 Posted Friday at 11:17 AM Stopped calling three bets out of position with suited connectos and my graph finally went up.
ivoryolrel Posted Friday at 02:01 PM #4 Posted Friday at 02:01 PM Playing fewer hands overall was the real game changer for me, not just preflop but learning to let go when the board gets ugly. Once I stopped overvaluing middle pair my stack actually started lasting longer.
strikeelus Posted Friday at 03:40 PM #5 Posted Friday at 03:40 PM Sticking to a solid preflop range and ditching those marginal hands from early position made a night and day difference for me. Once I started paying more attention to opponent bet sziing tells postflop it became way easier to spot when they were weak.
clotenast Posted Friday at 05:08 PM #6 Posted Friday at 05:08 PM Betting bigger for value wtih my strong hands instead of trying to trap really made my sessions explode. I used to slow play two pair on a wet board and get burned but now I just pile the money in and get paid off by worse hands way more often.
kaizgme6s8d Posted Saturday at 06:07 AM #7 Posted Saturday at 06:07 AM ngl just respecting position changed everything for me bro, playing trash oop was punting lol ?
mooeily2 Posted Saturday at 06:20 AM #8 Posted Saturday at 06:20 AM Wow I started actually looking at board texture before cbeting and it was like free money against weak regs who just give up too easy. Lowering my bluff frequency on paired boards alone turned me from break even into consistent winner in micro stakes cash
tycirora Posted Saturday at 06:38 AM #9 Posted Saturday at 06:38 AM Respecting position was the first thing that actually clicked for me too, feels so obvious in hindsight. What really pumped my winrate though was folding to river raises at low stakes unless I have the absolute nuts, people just arent bluffing there as much as you think.
onyxerra Posted Saturday at 07:03 AM #10 Posted Saturday at 07:03 AM honestly just learning when to fold a decent hand postflop was it for me, used to call down with top pair no kicker way too much and its just lighting money on fire against anyone who isnt a total maniac
Larsin Posted Saturday at 08:00 AM #11 Posted Saturday at 08:00 AM I started actually noting when villains changed their bet sizing on the turn and it clicked, one reg always bet tiny with draws and bombed with made hands so I just folded a ton more rivers aginst him.
vyxxen Posted Saturday at 08:06 AM #12 Posted Saturday at 08:06 AM stopped slow rolling my big hands, used to think I was being clever but people just get tilted and call wider when they're annoyed. Now I just scoop the pot and move on, winrate definitely went up after that lol
Ashan Posted Saturday at 11:05 AM #13 Posted Saturday at 11:05 AM Tbh I think some folks overrate position for micros, like yes it matters but if you are just playing tight ranges from EP you arent really leaking that hard compared to chasing draws with bad odds out of position which I see way more often from the losing players.
synni Posted Saturday at 11:13 AM #14 Posted Saturday at 11:13 AM man i started really paying attention to turn bet sizing and it changed everything, one reg at nl25 would bet like 40% pot with a bluff but 75% with the nuts and it was just printing moey to fold my medium pairs on rivers against that guy
Wrenynni Posted yesterday at 05:40 AM #15 Posted yesterday at 05:40 AM does that hold true when you move up to 50nl tho?
yukisnowy Posted yesterday at 09:32 AM #16 Posted yesterday at 09:32 AM position is everything tbh, used to play any two cards from utg like a total fish and now i just fold and chill ?
elibe69rs Posted 4 hours ago #17 Posted 4 hours ago Fold more preflop honestly, saved me more money than any fancy postflop adjustment ever did. People bleed chips playing too many hands out of position and just convince themselves it's a cooler when the obvious trouble spot hits.
